Mission
All students graduate as emotionally intelligent agents of change, who use their voice to advance social justice in their communities, who possess the real-world skills needed for both college and career success, and who embrace the rapidly changing demands of the 21st Century with creativity and innovation.
Vision
Valley Oaks Center for Enriched Studies develops generational agents of change who promote advocacy through a social-justice lens by developing critical-thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills, while embodying a healthy social, emotional, and personal well-being.
Principal’s Message
Valley Oaks Center for Enriched Studies (VOCES) is grounded on the philosophy that all stakeholders must have the opportunity to incorporate their voice in the decision-making process at our school. VOCES, Spanish for voices, was chosen as the name for the school to capture our philosophy that VOCES will empower all stakeholders by providing systematic structures that enable input from everyone. Our mission has, at its core, the preparation of all of our students to successfully attend competitive colleges and universities and to enter into their chosen career with skills and knowledge needed to be competitive in the 21st century. It is with great excitement that we convey our desire to serve the VOCES families as we provide all students with access to a rigorous curriculum and enrichment in all classes. Students will participate in a myriad of Pre-AP Classes, Honors Classes, Advanced Placement Classes and College classes on our campus and on the college campus. In addition, the rigorous curriculum is enhanced with special programs such as our Media Arts Program and our AVID Program. We invite you to partner with us as we work together to make the college and career dreams of every VOCES student a reality.
